Meet the Therapist

Hi, I’m Kari, I am a speech therapist. I am a proud graduate of Morgan County R-1, and my roots in this community have shaped both who I am and the passions I have pursued. I am a wife and the mother of four wonderful children who inspire me every day to keep growing and striving for more.

For many years, I worked in the nursing field, where I gained valuable experience caring for others and providing support during some of their most vulnerable moments. While nursing fulfilled my desire to help people over time, I realized my true passion was in communication- helping individuals find their voices and express themselves. This realization led me to make a major career change into the field of speech-language pathology.

My goal is to empower children (and adults) to communicate more effectively, build their confidence, and provide them with the tools they need to succeed not only in school but also in all other areas of life. I believe that communication is the foundation for connection, learning, and self-advocacy, and I aspire to help children discover their own voices and use them with confidence.
